Starting position for all figures. Feet together facing front, hands outstretched to sides at shoulder level.

1quick Step to the Right on the right foot.
2quick Step to the Right on the left foot in-front of right.
3slow Shift weight back onto right foot.
Repeat above steps to the Left with opposite footwork. Begin on left foot.
Repeat as often as desired.

1slow Step forward on the right foot.
2slow Touch ball of left foot forward keeping weight mostly on right.
Repeat above steps forward with opposite footwork.
The second step the "touch" step is often accompanied by a quick jerk of the hips forward.
