Starting position. Feet together facing partner.
StepTempoLa Conga Step (Basic Step) to the Right.
1quick Step to the Right on the right foot.
2quick Step to the Right on the left foot in-front of right.
3quick Step to the Right on the right foot.
4slow Swing left foot, knee slightly flexed across right.
La Conga Step to the Left
Repeat above 4 steps to the Left with opposite footwork
Repeat the Basic Step as often as desired. Occasional turns may also be substituted to the Right and then to the Left, pivoting on Steps 1 and 2 and completing the turn on step 3

StepTempoSchottische Step Forward and Backward.
1quick Step forward on right fooot
2quick Step forward on left foot
3quick Step forward on right foot
4quick Small hop on right foot with left knee slightly flexed.
Repeat with opposite footwork. Then repeat the sequence of 8 steps backward instead of forward. Thus on the first 4 steps partners will be shoulder to shoulder, and with second 4 they will pass each other. Then reverse. Figure can be done to either or both sides.
